LA FESTA DEL CALÇOT

During the winter months, in Catalonia we like to eat Calçots (pronounced, approximately "kalsots"), a kind of large onion. We meet with family and friends and eat them outdoors with a specific sauce, "pà amb tomàquet" (toasted bread with garlic, tomato, oil and salt) and other stuff made in the barbecue.
